Anis Shivani is the author of numerous books of fiction, poetry, and criticism, including, most recently Karachi Raj: A Novel, Soraya: Sonnets, and Literary Writing in the Twenty-First Century: Conversations. His work appears in many literary journals, including Georgia Review, Southwest Review, Yale Review, Threepenny Review, Boston Review, Fence, Subtropics, Boulevard, and others. He lives in Houston, Texas, and is the winner of a Pushcart Prize.
