Dannie Ruth

Dannie Ruth is a poet from Washington, D.C. and earned an MFA from The New School. Her poetry has been published in Sequoya, Toho Journal, and The Inquisitive Eater. Inside the Orb of an Oracle is her first published chapbook, which won the Summer Tide Pool Chapbook Prize with C&R press.

  • Mary Grimm

    Mary Grimm has had two books published – a novel, Left to Themselves and a story collection, Stealing Time. Her stories have appeared in The New Yorker, Antioch Review, and Mississippi Review, among others, and her flash fiction in places like Helen, Berlin Fiction Kitchen, and Tiferet. Currently, she is working on a series of climate change novellas.

  • Alice Campbell Romano

    The Consolation of Geomtery is a Summer Tide Pool 2023 Chapbook Selection. A poem is the face of what we’ve lived. Everything is soaked in all that came before. Alice Campbell Romano lived 13 years in Rome, Italy, turning Italian sceneggiature into American movie scripts. She married a dashing Italian; they raised their family in Rome and in Los Angeles where Alice became President of The Independent Writers of Southern California (IWOSC) and worked with independent film and TV producers as well as for Universal Studios.  Alice is a published and anthologized poet. She is an active member of The Hudson Valley Writers’ Center in the Hudson Highlands where she grew up amid tall oaks that make an appearance in The Consolation of Geometry, her first book.

  • Dale Corvino

    Recipient of the 2023 C&R Press Nonfcition Award, and a 2021 Lambda Literary Emerging Fellow, Dale Corvino found his voice at the underground literary salon “Dean Johnson’s Reading for Filth.” In 2018, he won the Gertrude Press Fiction contest, judged by Whiting Award recipient Brontez Purnell. Recent nonfiction includes a profile of Chilean writer Pedro Lemebel for the Gay & Lesbian Review, an essay on queer longing in the digital era for Matt Keegan’s 1996, and a chapter in the Routledge Handbook of Male Sex Work, Culture, and Society.     Maurya Kerr(she/her) is a bay area-based writer and artist. Her poetry has been nominated for Pushcart and Best of the Net prizes, appears in multiple journals, including Magma Poetry and Poet Lore, and is anthologized in The Future of Black: Afrofuturism, Black Comics, and Superhero Poetry. She most recently won the 2022 Tom Howard/Margaret Reid Poetry Contest. Her first chapbook, MUTTOLOGY (Small Harbor Publishing), was published in 2023.
